ISPC Covid-19 update: Suspending all activities at the Masjed Starting Tonight July 23rd 2020

AA Dear Community

We have been closely monitoring the COVID situation.

In consideration of many members of our community getting sick by the Covid-19 virus, the ISPC Executive Board in consultation with Imam Saad and Islamic Scholars as well as medical professionals, have decided to suspend all activities at our Masjed premise starting tonight (Thursday, July 23, 2020), until Further notice. We will NOT pray Jumaa (Friday) tomorrow.

This was a difficult decision, however, the safety and health of our community is most important.

Masjed Reopening Starting Tomorrow, Friday June 5th, 2020 starting with Jumaa Salah

As the state of Florida moves into Phase 2 of reopening, Masjid Ebad-al-Rahman will also be reopening in limited capacity starting Friday June 5th 2020 with Jummah prayer at 1pm, InShaAllah. Thereafter, Masjid will be open for Fajr, Magrib and Isha prayers only on a daily basis.

For the safety and protection of yourself and our beloved community we ask that everyone MUST follow the guidelines and rules as follows:

ISPC Masjed Ebad Alrahman is excited to announce a nightly contest to help stay connected during these last 10 nights of Ramadan.

Our dear Sheikh Saad will announce an Islamic trivia question every night during his nightly lectures on Facebook Live. The first member to answer the question correctly will receive a $50 Walmart gift card via email that same night! Once we determine a winner, we will need their email address to send them the gift card.

ISPC This Friday and Saturday: Free Iftar/Hot meal Distribution for our community and all mankind

Assalamu Alaikum Dear Community,

We are happy to announce Free Iftar/Hot meal Distribution at the Masjid this Friday and Saturday 6:30-7:30 pm, Inshaallah. Please come pick up pre-boxed hot meal to for you, your family and friends. This is open to all mankind, so invite whoever you know that is in need, or if you just want to take a break from cooking. It will be Drive-Thru, so you won't be getting out of your vehicle. This very important for everyone's safety that you won't get out of the car.

We are blessed to be able to announce that we are about to enter the holy and blessed Month of Ramadan. Inshallah Friday April 24th 2020, is the first day of Ramadan of 1441 Hijri Year. May Allah Accept our Fasting and good deeds.

As the Masjid stay closed due to Covid-19, we ask the community to do their worship at home, but stay connected with the community through our website, Facebook. Stay tuned for the our program this Ramadan.

In our efforts to stay connected with our community, Sh Saed will broadcast on his personal Facebook page activities live, and will upload them later on youtube. Starting with Jumaa Khutbah he is doing at it is usual time. Please follow the link below
We reiterate that all prayers are cancelled at our masjed until further notice. You should not follow the prayer live, Thuhur should be prayed at home instead.
