Based on the current situation, and scary speed by which the COVID-19 is spreading, and based on the rulings of our scholars, the recommendations of the medical professionals as well as the the local state and federal authorities, the board of the Islamic Society of Pinellas County have decided to close the Masjid indefinitely, which means:
1- The five daily prayers will be canceled until further notice, They should be prayed at home.
2- The Jumua as well as the weekly lectures will be suspended until thing go back to normal, which means that our beloved brothers and , sisters should pray Jumua as a four Rak`as Zuhr in their homes or places of business .
3- It is important for the brothers that have been consistent with their Salat in the Masjid that during this period that they will not have access to the Masjid, that their Hasn’t will continue to flow as the prophet PBUH revealed :
Narrated Abu Musa:
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) many times say: When a servant of Allah is accustomed to do a good work, then becomes ill or goes on journey, what was accustomed to do when he was well and staying at home will be recorded for him.

4- Let us not be stingy with our Dua as well as Sadaqah and good deeds in general as this is the time in which we have to multiply our good deeds .
Allah said :” And your Lord says, “Call upon Me; I will respond to you.” Indeed, those who disdain My worship will enter Hell [rendered] contemptible. “
Anas bin Malik narrated that :
the Messenger of Allah said: “Indeed charity extinguishes the Lord’s anger and it protects against the evil death.”

السلام عليكم ورحمة الله وبركاته، نسأل الله أن يحفظ هذه الجالية والمسلمين أجمعين من كل سوء.
بعد تتبع للأوضاع الحالية إثر هذا الانتشار السريع والمخيف الذي يتفشى به هذا الوباء، فيروس كورونا، وبعد الاستماع لفتاوى العلماء حفظهم الله وأخذ آراء الأخصائيين الطبيين والجهات المعنية قررت إدارة مسجد عباد الرحمن إغلاق المسجد إلى أجل غير مسمى حتى تنجلي هذه المحنة، وهذا ستترتب عليه بعض الأمور.
١- على الإخوة الكرام رواد المسجد أن يصلوا في رحالهم الصلوات الخمس.
٢- سوف تلغى صلاة الجمعة وكذا دروس المسجد حتى تنجلي هذه الظروف العصيبة، وعلى الإخوة والأخوات أن يصلوا في بيوتهم أو أعمالهم الجمعة ظهرا أربع ركعات.
٣- لا بد أن يعلم من اعتادوا على الصلاة في المسجد أن في صلاتهم في بيوتهم تستمر حسنات صلاتهم تصل إليهم غير منقوصة، وهذا من كرم الله عز وجل لقول النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم والحديث أخرجه أبو داود من حديث أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ وَلاَ مَرَّتَيْنِ يَقُولُ “ إِذَا كَانَ الْعَبْدُ يَعْمَلُ عَمَلاً صَالِحًا فَشَغَلَهُ عَنْهُ مَرَضٌ أَوْ سَفَرٌ كُتِبَ لَهُ كَصَالِحِ مَا كَانَ يَعْمَلُ وَهُوَ صَحِيحٌ مُقِيمٌ ” .
٤- لا تبخلوا على أنفسكم وأمتكم بالدعاء فهذا وقت الإكثار من الدعاء وكذا الإكثار من الصدقة وأعمال البر،عسى ربنا أن يرفع عنا البلاء قال الله عز وجل :” وَقَالَ رَبُّكُمُ ادْعُونِي أَسْتَجِبْ لَكُمْ ۚ إِنَّ الَّذِينَ يَسْتَكْبِرُونَ عَنْ عِبَادَتِي سَيَدْخُلُونَ جَهَنَّمَ دَاخِرِينَ (60) “
وأخرج الترمذي عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم “ إِنَّ الصَّدَقَةَ لَتُطْفِئُ غَضَبَ الرَّبِّ وَتَدْفَعُ مِيتَةَ السُّوءِ ”
٥- سوف تعمل إدارة المسجد على تزويدكم بالمعلومات أول بأول حتى تمر هذه الظروف الحرجة، فنرجو متابعة موقع المسجد .
