• بعثه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم مع أبي موسى الأشعري إلى اليمن
• قال له الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم إني أحبك في الله ..
• وكان من الستة الذين يفتون في عهد النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ثلاثة من المهاجرين وثلاثة من الأنصار فكان منهم .

• من وصاياه قوله : : يا بني، إذا صليت فصل صلاة مودع لا تظن أنك تعود إليها أبدًا واعلم يا بني أن المؤمن يموت بين حسنتين: حسنة قدمها وحسنة أخرها
• توفي سنة ثمان عشرة وهو ابن ثلاث وثلاثين سنة .
• From the Ansar, From the Tribe Khazraj, witnessed the Aqabah while young man with no facial hair yet
• He accepted Islam at the Age of 18
• He was with the Prophet SAW in Badr
• The prophet SAW Said: Take the Quran from 4, he is one of them
• The prophet SAW Said: He is the most knowledgeable of my ummah in Halal and Haram
• The prophet SAW Said complementing him: a good person is.. and mentioned his name
• The prophet SAW sent him to Yaman with another companion, Abu Musa AlAshary
• The prophet SAW told him: I love you for the sake of Allah
• Was one of the 6 people that used to give fatwa during the life of the Prophet SAW if he could not be reached. 3 from Ansar and 3 from Muhajereen
• From his sayings, an advice to his son: o my son: If you pray, pray as if it was your last prayer, don’t ever count on praying again, and know my son, when the believer dies, he is between 2 good deeds, one he was able to do, the other not.
• He passed away at the age of only 33

• ولد في الإسلام في السنة السادسة للبعثة وتربى قريبا من بيت النبوة
• كان أسوداً شديد السواد ..
• كان الرسول يحبه حبا جما، يأخذه والحسن رضي الله عنه فيقول: “اللهم أحبهما؛ فإني أحبهما”
• شجاعاً ممن رباهم النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، مما جعل رسول الله يوليه إمارة الجيش الإسلامي وهو في الثامنة عشرة من عمره وفي الجيش عمر و كبار الصحابة من المهاجرين والأنصار رضوان الله عليهم
• من الأحاديث المشهورة، أنه تشفع في أمرأة سرقت، فغضب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم رغم حبه له، وقال “فإنما أهلك الناس قبلكم أنهم كانوا إذا سرق فيهم الشريف تركوه، وإذا سرق فيهم الضعيف أقاموا عليه الحد، والذي نفس محمد بيده لو أن فاطمة بنت محمد سرقت لقطعت يدها”
• He was born in the early stages of Islam to parents that were already Muslims, in the 6th year after start of revelation to the prophet SAW
• He was black, very dark color
• The prophet SAW used to love him a lot, in of the Ahadeeth he said while holding him and his grandson Hassan” O Allah, I love these two, O Allah I ask you to love them too.”
• He was very brave since his childhood, so the Prophet made him a leader in one of armies that had Omar RAA and many of the older companions at the age of 18
• A notable hadeeth related to this companion the story of trying to intervene for a woman that stole not to be punished with the Prophet SAW, which upset the Prophet and he gather the companions and made a speech: “O people, what destroyed the people before you, that if a person of rank and connections stole, they left him with no punishment, and if a weak person with no rank or connection stole, they would punish him. By the one that my soul is in his hand, if Fatimah the daughter of the Mohammad stole, I would cut her hand”
Question 3
• أنصاري .. خزرجي .. من بني النجار ..
• اشتهر بكنيته واسمه خالد
• كان مدفنه تحت أسوار القسطنطينية ..
• خصه الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم بالنزول عليه في بني النجار إلى أن بنيت حجرته وبني المسجد الشريف .
• From the people of Ansar…From the Tribe of Khazraj…From the sub tribe of Banee Annajjar
• He was known by his Kunyah (Abu…), his name was Khaled
• He was buried by the walls of Istanbul while the muslims were surrounding it
• He was chosen to host the prophet SAW in Madinah from the time he immigrated until he built his Masjed and the rooms.
Question 4
• من سادة المهاجرين
• أسلم بعد 13 عشر رجلا وهاجر الهجرتين
• كان تقيا عابدا زاهدا
• كان ممن حرم الخمر في الجاهلية
• توفي سنة 3
• كان أول من دفن في البقيع
• يروى من كرامته أنه توفي في حياة الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم وصلى عليه و قبله وهو ميت ودموع الرسول تسيل على خده
• Was one of the leaders of the Muhajereen
• He was the 14th man to accept Islam and took part of the 2 immigrations
• He used to be known for his abundance of worship and disinterest in this life
• He prohibited the alcohol on himself even before Islam
• He is the first person to be buried on Baqeea, the famous cemetery in Madinah
• Allah has blessed him to have the Prophet SAW pray on him, and kissed him shed tears on his face in the process.
Question 5
• كان خامس خمسة في الإسلام
• شهد فتح بيت المقدس مع عمر رضي الله عنه
• مات سنة اثنتين وثلاثين وحيداً ليس معه إلا امرأته حتى مرت عليه قافله .. فكان كما قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : (رحم الله .. فلان .. يمشي وحده ويموت وحده ويبعث يوم القيامة وحده)
• He was the 5th person to accept Islam
• He witnessed the opening of Jerusalem with Omar RAA
• He passed away year 32 after Hijra alone with his wife on the road..so he was as the prophet SAW said: ( may Allah have mercy on …he walks alone, dies alone, and he will be resurrected in the day of judgement alone.)
